2018 Malibu Rider Experience

The World Wake Association (WWA) and Malibu Boats have once again teamed up to continue the worlds premier amateur development event series. The Malibu Rider Experience. Comprised of 5 stops of action amateur riders across the US come together with top Malibu Pro athletes for a weekend focused on the next generation of wake athletes.

The 2nd stop of the 2018 Malibu Rider Experience tour was held over this past weekend at Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, US.  The tour not only helps amateurs to develop their riding but also allows emerging Pros to earn points to qualify for the fully fledged Pro Events held by the WWA.

Jnr Pro Men division was the showcase event for the round and allows the emerging juniors to show out their riding and tricks. Young JP team rider Bryce Grey continued to show a level of riding and tricks that keeps him in talks of being one of the riders of the future. He had a great run and finished in 2nd place behind the most dominant junior rider right now, Luca Kidd out of GBR.

3rd place went to Kevin Duffy (USA).

Next big event for The WWA is the upcoming Malibu Factory Pro June 30 – July 1.

Best of luck to all JP team riders hitting the event up this weekend.
