The 2018 Pro Wakeboard Tour final round stage was set and the script was no better written pumped full of drama, action and suspense.
All year long the top 3-4 guys had been swapping podium spots and points totals. It had been an epic battle between the worlds best wakeboarders to claim the 2018 PWT Overall Title.
After some solid semi runs the final riders were locked away. It was a showdown between some of the tours big dogs with JP Team Riders Cory and Tony leading the way up against Harley Clifford, Nic Rapa, Jake Pelot & Tyler Higham.
The runs the boys put on for the final were crazy. Killer tech runs with hammer after hammer. Cory Teunissen was ON. His final run landed a huge score of 98.33pts. That was enough to see him take out the event followed closely by our guy Tony Iacconi in 2nd (95.83pts) and Harley Clifford in 3rd (90.33pts). Props go out to all the riders and you can read some more (if ya want) about the event over at wakeboarding magazine.

Huge congrats to CT as winning this 4th and final stop of the tour gave him just enough points to boost from 2nd into 1st overall and take out the overall series win for the 2018 Pro Wakeboard Tour and his first ever PWT Title. It was a massive effort for him to win overall and is a showcase of his ability, hard work and determination. As the saying goes ‘Cream, get the money, dollar dollar bill yall – no wait that’s Wu-Tang… The saying goes – Cream rises to the top!! CT you killed it bro!!
Massive congrats also to TI for his 2nd at the event and 4th overall for the series. Well done big fella!! Much love.
