2024 Jet Ski World Cup Thailand
The 2025 Jet Ski World Series wrapped up this past week in spectacular fashion in Thailand, leaving fans on the edge of their seats as some of the world’s top riders pushed the limits of speed and skill. Held in the stunning coastal city of Pattaya, the event drew massive crowds, with the crystal-clear waters of the Gulf of Thailand providing the perfect backdrop for one of the most exhilarating competitions in the world.
This year’s edition was nothing short of spectacular, featuring fierce battles across various classes including Pro Ski GP & Pro Runabout GP. The sheer scale of the event was a testament to the global reach of jet ski racing, with competitors from over 20 countries battling for the coveted championship titles.
Highlight Performances and Winners
In the Pro Ski GP category, multiple time world champion Kevin Reiterer from Austria claimed the title in an electrifying showdown, narrowly edging out rivals Quinten Bosche from Belgium and Toshi O'Hara from Japan. Kevin's expert control, lightning-fast reflexes and consistency allowed him to take the points lead despite relentless pressure from Quinten & Toshi throughout the weekend.
Young Australian Pro, Jayden Richardson showcased his immense talent and potential taking out 4th place. Another amazing result for the young Aussie in his rookie Pro Racing season and we are looking forward to seeing him back in 2025.
The Pro Runabout GP class saw an intense 5 x way battle between Mohammed Albaaz (Kuwait), Gyorgy Kasza (Hungary), Mohammed Burbayea (Kuwait), Teera Settura (Thailand) & Francois Medori (France) with Alabaaz emerging victorious after a high-speed, tactical duel. His incredible consistency and strategic positioning on the water earned him the top spot by just 3 points.
Francois Medori also raced the Pro Endurace Open ands took out victory on a countback over Thai rider Tapatarawat Joesonnusont. Australian veteran Guy Greenland battle hard to take 7th place in a massive field of 34 endurance racers.
