The full rundown on Men's Walkshorts, Rideshorts & Boardshorts
Mens shorts, sorted by the day you are having
Four cuts sit in this range and the leg length and the liner are what separate them. Pick by the day, not the graphic, and you will never stand at the ramp in the wrong shorts.
Rideshorts, the jet ski shorts
The Rx and Vault rideshorts run a 17.5 inch leg with a stitched-in neoprene liner, so nothing chafes over a long sesh in the seat. Three hours on the ski in unlined boardies is a lesson you only need once. These are the shorts under the vest when you are riding all day, race pack or Sunday cruise.
Board shorts, the water shorts
18 to 22 inch outseams in stretch, quick-dry polyester, from the elastic-waist Jet-Lite to the fixed-waist Rx, Vault and Moto and the Sindy Sinn and Tom Hadley collab prints. Off the boat at eleven, dry by lunch. Every pair lives on the mens board shorts page.
Walkshorts, the everyday shorts
The Stretched Out walkshort is 19 inches of cotton-canvas stretch with a soft ribbed elastic waistband, an external waistband with belt loops, a velcro pocket that keeps your phone where you left it and a reinforced back pocket. Site to pub without changing.
Elasticated shorts, the work-and-water shorts
The Jet-Lite elasticated short is an 18 inch leg in ultra-lite quick-dry fabric with utility pockets, an external draw cord, triple-stitch construction and bar-tacks at the stress points. Built for site days that end at the ramp. Tradies wear them because they cop it; riders wear them because they dry on the drive. The full work shorts range sits under workwear.
Boat shorts
Boat shorts is not a cut, it is a question: how wet are you getting. Swimming off the back: boardies. Towing the crew on the tube and jumping on the ski between runs: rideshorts. Running out to the reef with an esky and a lot of gear: the Jet-Lite elasticated short, for the pockets and the dry-by-the-ramp fabric.
Sizing
Waist sizes run 28 to 44 across the range; the elasticated styles give a size either way. The size guide has the measurements. Pair with a mens rashie on the water or a heavyweight tee off it. Sorted.
