The full rundown on Watersports Summer 2026
Jetpilot Summer 2026, forty years in
Jetpilot started in California in 1986. Forty years on, Summer 2026 is the water side of the range for the months the ski lives on the trailer: life jackets for everyone on the boat, ski tubes for the crew, race neoprene, wetsuit shorts, eyewear and the footwell kit. Some of it is new and some is carried over, because a vest that works does not need reinventing. The order you kit up in has not changed either. Vest first.
The vest goes on first
The Cause, one of the most trusted names in the line-up, runs mens sizes to 4XL plus ladies, kids and infant cuts. The Freeride, in mens and boys, is the vest for a day behind the boat or general boating. The Eden is cut for women rather than sized down from a mens pattern, the Phase Hyperflex and Vault Hyperflex move with you through the hits, and the 360 Venture adds dual sizing and a POV camera mount for the all-dayer. Level 50S is the jet ski, wake and tow vest, any colour, and the minimum on a PWC in every state; the colourways marked L50 are the same float in high-vis for riders who take the ski beyond smooth water. Check the level on the product page, check your state in the life jacket regulations guide, and see every cut on life jackets.
The crew on the tube
The Hyper Wing leads the ski tubes in two, three and four-rider sizes, with built-in angled side wings and neoprene soft ride pads on a heavy-gauge PVC bladder under double-stitched nylon. The Speedster adds body-grip deck fins and pull-up straps for climbing back on, the Freeride tube carries soft ride pads and pull-up straps for three or four, and the Whizzer, Chaser, Skater and Blast Off round it out. Rope it to match the crew: the 1-4 Person Tube Rope is 60 ft with an 1882 kg breaking strain, and the hand or electric pump gets the tube up at the ramp. Every shape, by rider count, is on ski tubes.
Race neoprene and the cruise
The Vault Mens Race John runs Pro-Tech impact foam knee pads, CE insert shin pads and YKK lower leg zips, with the race wetsuit jacket and its anti-pump forearm panels over the top and Vault wetsuit pants for the full leg. The Vault Youth Race John adds a removable Pro-Tech back protector tested to CE standard EN 1621-2:2014 Level 2, in sizes 8 to 12. For the cruise rather than the start line, the Venture Mens John has dive-grade Supertex knee pads, and the Vault, Flight and Corp Ladies tour coats go on when the wind gets up.
Corp, Zahra and Vault for her
Corp wetsuit shorts come in 2.5, 5 and 7 inch legs, each in a standard or high-waisted cut with a Glideskin leg cuff seal, sizes 6 to 16. The Zahra 2.5 inch is the Zahra Kell signature short, the Vault ladies short runs a 5 inch leg for training and race practice, and the X1 1.5mm neoprene leggings take it to the ankle. Every cut and leg length is on womens wetsuit shorts.
The footwell kit
Strong Arm reboarding straps, the Offshore Jet Ski Anchor, the PWC floating bung tool and Flexi Fenders. Venture Drysafe bags with a roll-down watertight closure for the phone and keys, the Venture Soft Esky with two rod holders, and the Venture Marine Safety Kit: a 6m tow rope, torch and whistle in a floating container that doubles as a bailer. Floating sunnie retainers, the Velocity and Shield 2-in-1 sunnies and goggles rated to AS/NZS 1067.1, and a Dog PFD for the crew member with four legs.
Fit before you buy
Size a vest off a chest measurement with the size guide, wearing the layer you ride in. Buckle up on dry land and lift at the shoulders; if it rides past your ears, go down a size. Colourways rotate through summer, so the one on the page is the one that's on.
