Built Tough for the Long Haul
Long days, heavy lifting, rough sites — Jetpilot work pants are made to handle it all. Designed for real tradies, this gear brings the strength, stretch and storage you need to get the job done without compromise. Whether you're on the tools at 6am or knocking off late, these are work pants built to keep up.
What Is Jet-Lite? The Fabric Behind the Range
Jet-Lite Hybrid is Jetpilot's workwear fabric technology — a 200GSM blend of 4-way stretch dry-fit polyester and natural fibres. The natural fibres keep the softness, breathability and texture of a traditional work pant, while the technical side adds water resistance, chemical resistance and thermo-regulating performance that keeps you cool, dry and protected through a full shift. Jet-Lite Utility styles step it up again with a 100% stretch ultra-lite, quick-dry fabrication — made for tradies who work hard around water, sweat and Aussie heat.
Fits and Styles for Every Trade
Elastic waist work pants — the Jet-Lite Hybrid Elastic Waist range delivers all-day comfort with no belt digging in, in cuffed or straight-leg fits. Utility pants — classic straight fit with a performance bias gusset and articulated knees, so squatting, climbing and kneeling never hold you back. 2-In-1 Zip Off pants — zip the legs off and your pants become shorts when the arvo heats up. Fueled range — corrugated stretch panels, cuffed styles and the 5 Day Chino that goes from site to smoko to Friday knock-off. Taped styles — finished with 3M Scotchlite Reflective 5510 segmented tape for low-light visibility on site.
Details Tradies Actually Notice
Reinforced pockets, back panels, knees and cuffs put the durability where work pants blow out first. Engineered pockets are sized to swallow a phone in a heavy-duty case, with up to 10 pockets on the Hybrid Cuff Pant for tools, ties and everything else. And because every pair is cut with stretch and a bias gusset, they move with you instead of against you.
Pair them with a Jetpilot flanno up top for winter site days, or browse the full Jetpilot workwear range including work shorts.
Work Pants Questions, Answered
What are Jetpilot work pants made of?
Most of the range runs our Jet-Lite Hybrid fabric — a 200GSM blend of 4-way stretch dry-fit polyester and natural fibres. You get the softness and breathability of a traditional work pant, with water resistance, chemical resistance and thermo-regulating performance built in. Our Jet-Lite Utility styles use a 100% stretch ultra-lite, quick-dry fabrication.
Do Jetpilot work pants come with an elastic waist?
Yes — the Jet-Lite Hybrid Elastic Waist range is built exactly for that: all-day comfort with no belt digging in, in both cuffed and straight-leg fits. They still carry proper workwear details like reinforced pockets and a performance bias gusset.
Do any Jetpilot work pants have reflective tape?
The Taped styles — like the Jet-Lite Hybrid Taped Elastic Waist Cuff Pant and Taped Utility Pant — feature 3M Scotchlite Reflective 5510 segmented tape for better visibility in low light on site.
Are Jetpilot work pants good for hot weather?
That's where Jet-Lite earns its name. The fabric is lightweight, quick-dry and thermo-regulating to keep you cool through Aussie summers, and the 2-In-1 Zip Off Utility Pant converts straight into shorts when the mercury climbs.
What's the difference between the cuff, utility and chino fits?
Cuff pants taper to an elastic cuff at the ankle — a modern, jogger-style work fit. Utility pants are a classic straight fit with articulated knees for ease of movement. The Fueled 5 Day Chino is the cleanest cut of the three — made to go from the site to everywhere else.
Can I wear Jetpilot work pants working around water?
They're made by a watersports company, so yes. Jet-Lite's quick-dry, water-resistant fabrication suits marine trades, landscaping, pressure-washing — any job where you're wet half the day. It's the same water-and-work thinking behind everything Jetpilot builds.
