Three groups on this page, and it pays to know which is which before the first swim. If the top rolls, it is a dry bag. If it zips, read the label. If it is mesh, it is meant to leak.
Dry bags and waterproof
The Venture Dry Safe roll-tops come in 2L, 5L and 10L, with a 10L Dry Safe Backpack for hands-free carry off the ski. Roll the top down, clip it, and the sonic-welded seams do the rest. The 50L Waterproof Backpack takes a full day's kit, the Venture Dry Case protects the fragile stuff, and the waterproof phone pouch is IP68 rated, submersible at 1 metre for 60 minutes, sealed with two zip closures, a three-fold seal and a hook-and-loop safety. Built from tough 600D fabrics, a good chunk of it recycled, for salt, sun and being thrown in the footwell.
Eskies and coolers
The Venture Soft Esky runs 46 litres inside a heat-sealed PVC liner with sponge foam insulation, the Venture Cooler holds 36 cans in a 25 litre cool cell, and the Back Rest Chilled Seat Bag keeps the drinks cold and your back off the rear rail. Totes, mesh and carry
The 70L and 80L oversized totes swallow a wet steamer and a towel; the 80L runs water-resistant fabric, sonic-welded seams and a sealed zipper. The mesh tote and the 35L mesh backpack are built to drain, not to seal: bottom drain holes, a hanger hole to dry the vest, foam back, oversized bottle holders, so the gear dries on the way home instead of in the ute on Wednesday.
