On Thursday 21st October, a group of adventurous individuals got together at Jetpilot HQ and set off on the ultimate camping trip to Lake Maroon in Queensland, Australia.
The weather forecast was ultimately gloomy with possible showers but, the crew were in good spirits and pumped to have some fun out on the water! After a few coffee stops after leaving at 6:30am.
The crew finally made it to Lake Maroon, nestled in the heart of the Scenic Rim, Boonah, two hours away from Brisbane. We had the place to ourselves, there was not a living soul in sight.
The crew had an awesome camping setup, thanks to the guys at Patriot Campers. We gathered skis, boats, tunes then got underway in the waters of Lake Maroon.
For the next two days, the crew spent time having fun testing life vests, inflatables and hit the water running, testing out the wake boards to the max!
By the end of the trip everyone was showing signs of a successful camping trip - messy hair, snags and pasta salad for breakfast, clothes that smelt like a camp fire and the succession test: the crew had the biggest smiles on their faces!
It was truly the ultimate camping trip, one to remember for a long time coming!
