JTPLT x Heatley Boys, the capsule
JTPLT x Heatley Boys is the capsule built around the Heatley brothers and their connection to the outdoors: a signature X1 life jacket, a Freeride vest for the groms, three tees, two boardshorts and four hats, in Black, Brown, Lavender and Cement. The vest is the centre of it. The Heatley crew do not wear a signature X1 for the photo; they wear it because it is the X1.
The X1 in the JTPLT x Heatley colourway
The X1 is the wake vest the team rides behind the boat and at the park: 100% EcoPrene made with recycled bottles and around 30% lighter than standard neoprene, segmented Freelite foam that flexes through a carve and cops the landing, a PK Lok zipper, and the Heatley colourway on top. It is approved to Australian Standard AS 4758 Level 50S, the wake, tow and jet ski level, the minimum on a PWC in every state and the vest for the rider behind the boat; where your state requires high-vis Level 50 beyond smooth water, the Cause carries those colourways. Freeride Boys for the groms
The Freeride Boys Life Jacket is the kids wake vest in sizes 8 to 14: stitch-through construction for a thinner profile, 100% EcoPrene and Freelite bevelled-edge foam, approved to AS 4758 Level 50S, so it passes at the ramp and moves with the kid instead of boxing them in. It sits with the rest of the youth range on kids life jackets.
The tees
All three run 210 GSM 100% cotton jersey in an oversized fit with a 1x1 ribbed crew neck band and JTPLT woven badges inside and out. The Now Tee stacks a chest screenprint under a 3D embroidered JTPLT script logo. The Superfan Tee runs the stacked logo down the left chest in a mix of screenprint and embroidery. The Ignorant Tee keeps the front to a single-colour embroidery and puts the noise on the back: a two-colour screenprint punched with fluoro yellow embroidery. Boardshorts and headwear
The Chicken Boardshorts are 100% recycled 4-way stretch polyester with a 19 inch leg, an elastic waistband and drawcord, built for the water and worn the rest of the week. The Superfan Boardshorts run a 20 inch leg on an athletic block with a shortened front, quick-dry polyester, an elastic waistband with an outer mesh layer and a high-contrast drawstring, side entry pockets and a zippered pocket with a key loop. On top, the Now Snapback, the Move 5 Panel and the Boonie Twill and Boonie Nylon Short Brim, with a drawcord toggle, drainage and airflow holes and contrast webbing loops.
Fit
Size the vest off a chest measurement with the size guide, zip and buckle up on dry land and lift at the shoulders; past your ears, drop a size. A vest that rides up when you case the kicker is the wrong vest. Tees are oversized on purpose, boardies size off the waist from 28 to 44, hats are one size fits most.
