About the RX Vault Race John Wetsuit
The RX Vault Race John in Black/White is the john for the start line. It is a 2mm race-cut john in 100% 360 Stretch Neoprene with Jet-Lok seam construction, built for riders who treat a wetsuit as riding equipment rather than something to swim in.
The protection is the point. Durable EVA PRO-TECHion knee and shin pads cover the bits that cop the tray and the bars, and the back protection is approved to EN 1621-2:2014 Level 1. Breathable flow panels dump heat between motos, lower leg zips and durable YKK zips get you in and out fast in the pits, seamless butt panels stop the rub, and reflective foil graphics catch the light on the water.
Sizes run XS through 2XL. Pair it with the RX Vault Mens Race Jacket, and always race in a properly fitted Level 50S or Level 50 life jacket, as your state and your race organiser require.

Questions riders ask
Which thickness do I need?
Go by the water. As a guide: 24°C and up, boardies and a rashie; 18–24°C, a 2 mm springsuit or a race john with a wetsuit jacket; 16–18°C, a 3/2 steamer or neo pants under a wetsuit jacket, with Heat Seeker gloves; under 16°C, add a hooded tour coat and neo boots. On the ski the wind matters as much as the water, so the tour coat earns its place.
What does 3/2 mean?
The first number is the neoprene on your body, the second is on your arms and legs, in millimetres. A 3/2 is 3 mm through the torso and 2 mm on the limbs, so it's warm where you need it and still lets you move.
How should it fit?
Measure your chest first: it's the measurement that matters most. A suit should be snug, with no gaps at the lower back and no bunching under your arms. Jackets and tour coats are cut looser so they layer over a vest.
How do I look after neoprene?
Rinse it in fresh water after every sesh and dry it out of the sun. Hang it on a wide hanger, and keep it away from fuel.
What if it doesn't fit?
Swap it or send it back for a refund within 21 days of purchase. Sale items are the exception. Returns and exchanges has the steps.
