The full rundown on Mens Watersports Gear & Apparel
Mens watersports gear and apparel, sorted by which side of the ramp you are on
This is the top of the mens tree. One side is the water: life jackets, wetsuits, rashies, boots, gloves, goggles and the ski kit. The other side is the rest of the week: tees, boardies, walkshorts, hoodies, chinos, flannel and caps. Most riders shop both, because the bloke on the sled at seven is the same bloke at the pub at four. Pick your side and follow it down.
The water side
Start with the vest, because it is the only thing on this page the law cares about. Every Jetpilot life jacket is approved to Australian Standard AS 4758. Level 50S is the jet ski, wake and tow vest, any colour, the minimum on a PWC in every state. Level 50 is the same float in high-vis, made for riders who take the ski beyond smooth water where the state requires it, which is why the Cause, Venture and Vault come in Red and Yellow Level 50 colourways. Check your state in the Australian life jacket regulations guide, then go to mens life jackets for every cut from the weekend Cause to the race-cut RX Vault Pro-Tech.
Under the vest, mens wetsuits: race johns, race jackets and neo pants in 360 Stretch Limestone Neoprene with Jet-Loc seams and YKK zips, plus the Venture pieces for the all-dayer. Rashies and sun shirts carry UPF 50+ on the rated styles, the neo boots run YKK zips and traction soles for the ramp, and the gloves, goggles and race lids round out the kit.
The street side
Cotton jersey tees with the GSM on the product page, pullover hoodies, the quilted flannel jacket and the flannel shirts that run from site to pub, 5 Day chinos and stretch walkshorts. Mens shorts covers the lot: rideshorts with a neoprene liner for the ski, quick-dry Jet-Lite shorts for the ramp and the yard, boardies for the beach. The whole apparel side lives on mens clothing.
Sizing across the range
Most of the range runs S to 3XL, part of it to 4XL. Shorts and pants run waist 28 to 44, boots in US sizing, and caps are one size fits most. Size from a measurement, not from your last pair, and if you ride in a race john, size the vest with it on. Buckle up on dry land and lift at the shoulders; a vest that rides up when you get flung is the wrong vest.
Built by a crew that rides
Everything here is picked for salt, sun, fuel splash and being stood on in a footwell. If it cannot cop that, it does not make the page. Colourways rotate with the season, so if the one you want is there, that is the time.
