Jetpilot Venture, Seek the Horizon

Venture is the touring and fishing series: the gear for the dawnie, the run out to the reef, the river all-dayer and the trip home after dark. It is built for the rider who logs more hours than the rest of the ramp put together and does not want to think about the kit while doing it. The horizon does not care how comfortable you were at hour one. Hour six is the test, and Venture is built for hour six.

The Venture life jackets

The Venture and Venture Plus are approved to Australian Standard AS 4758 Level 50S, the jet ski level, in EcoPrene with Freelite buoyancy foam, the Hidden Supergrip handle for hauling a mate back onto the sled, reflective hits for the low-light run home and a POV camera mount. The Red Level 50 and Yellow Level 50 colourways are the same vests in high-vis, for riders who take the ski beyond smooth water in states that require it, Queensland included. Bags, the esky and the gear that has to stay dry

The Venture 2L and 5L Dry Safe bags for phone, keys and the licence. The 80L Oversize Tote in water-resistant fabric with sonic welded seams, a webbing carry handle and a sealed zipper, for the whole crew's kit. The Mesh Tote and Mesh Backpack for the wet stuff that needs to drain. The waterproof phone pouch, the fishing gimbal, and the Venture Soft Esky so the catch and the drinks come home cold. Most of the bag line runs 600D polyester, picked for salt, sun, fuel splash and being stood on. The full range is on dry bags and eskies.

Sun, cold and the layers between

The Venture Long Sleeve Fishing Polo and LS Sun Shirt carry UV protection 50+ with Jet-Loc seam construction and custom sublimation, and the legionnaire cap covers the neck the polo cannot. When the water turns, the Venture Tour Coat is 100% 360 Stretch Neoprene at 2mm with cuff adjusters, a hood, reflective tape and a pocket for the Venture Hydration Bladder, a 1.5 litre TPU heat-sealed bladder sold separately. The Venture Ride Jacket is the shell: 320D Nylon Taslon, a breathable mesh lining, a roll-away hood, adjustable waist and cuffs, three external pockets and PU-coated YKK zips. Under it, the Venture John and Jacket in 360 Stretch with Jet-Tech knee pads, the Long John, the Ride Pants and the Thermafleece rashies. The polos and sun shirts sit with the rest on fishing shirts and sun shirts.

The deckie with four legs

The Venture Dog PFD runs a 100% 600D polyester outer with adjustable webbing and a grab handle on top for lifting the dog straight out. No dog vest carries AS 4758, ours included; what you are buying is flotation, a secure fit and a handle you can trust. It lives on dog life jackets.

Fit and the season

Apparel runs S to 3XL, the vests to 4XL, and the bags are one size. Size a vest off a chest measurement with the layer you ride in, buckle up on dry land and lift at the shoulders; past your ears, drop a size. Venture runs by season, so a colourway that is here now is here now.
