Ultra Tapered Fit
Cut close through the waist, so the vest sits low and snug against your body.

Tight Fit = Safe Fit
It should feel tight when it's dry. It gives a little once it's wet, and a loose vest can ride up or slip off when you hit the water.

Find your size
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms, then check your weight:

• S: 92 cm chest, 40–60 kg
• M: 100 cm chest, 60–70 kg
• L: 104 cm chest, 70 kg+
• XL: 112 cm chest, 70 kg+
• 2XL: 118 cm chest, 70 kg+

Between sizes? Try both. Zip it, clip the buckle and get a mate to lift it at the shoulders: it shouldn't ride up past your chin or ears.

50S or 50?
Same float. Level 50 comes in high-vis colours so you're easier to spot; Level 50S can be any colour. On smooth and enclosed water (rivers, lakes, dams and sheltered bays), Level 50S is accepted on a jet ski in every state. Queensland requires Level 50 on a jet ski in partially smooth and open water, and Tasmania requires Level 100 or above beyond sheltered water.

Look after it
Rinse it in fresh water after every sesh, dry it in the shade, keep it away from fuel, and check the zip, buckle and foam before you ride. If it's torn, crushed or badly faded, replace it.
