There's a UFO on the back. They'll want to wear it.

A vest they like is a vest they'll keep on, and the Blue is easy to like: two-tone blue panels, a bubble JTPLT logo on the chest and a UFO beaming it up on the back. Underneath, it's all business: Level 50S approved, a YKK zip and waist buckle, and Freelite foam stitched thin so they can move.

It's approved to Australian Standard AS 4758 Level 50S, accepted for towed riders in every state that requires a lifejacket.

Built for: summer sessions on a wakeboard or wakesurfer.
Best for: young riders who've caught the wake bug.

  • Two-tone blue: bright up top, darker lower panels
  • UFO back print: JTPLT in the beam
  • Light shell: 100% EcoPrene
  • Thin profile: stitch-through foam blocks
  • Front entry: YKK zip and waist buckle

Freeride Boys Life Jacket

The Freeride Boys is Jetpilot's wake vest for young riders: tapered for a smaller build, stitched thin so there's less bulk, and made in a 100% EcoPrene shell, rated 30% lighter than traditional neoprene. It comes in three looks, from orange-trimmed Black to two-tone Blue and all-dark Midnight Black. Approved to Australian Standard AS 4758 Level 50S.

Stitch-Through Foam

Thin Enough to Ride In.

The stitching runs right through the foam, splitting it into thin blocks. There's less bulk around a young rider's chest, the foam stays put, and the vest bends between the blocks as they twist, fall and get back up.

What Hits Different

Their Own Artwork

Each colour has its own look: a shaka and a skateboarding ghost on the Black, a UFO beaming up JTPLT on the Blue, and a tonal JTPLT on the Midnight Black.

EcoPrene Shell

Jetpilot's neoprene alternative, rated 30% lighter than traditional neoprene, so the vest feels lighter on from the first session.

Sized by Weight

Kids' lifejackets are sized by weight. Pick the size that matches your child's weight today, not next summer: a vest that's too big can ride up in the water.
