The Jetpilot RX Vault Pro-Tech Life Jacket – Black/Red L50 is built for riders who demand serious protection and performance. Dual ISO and Australian Standards L50 approved, it’s made from lightweight, eco-conscious Ecoprene for comfort and agility on the water.

The patented built-in/removable Pro-Tech CE Level 2 Back Brace delivers double the impact protection, while Freelite bevelled edge buoyancy foam keeps flotation slim and responsive. A durable YKK zipper, anatomical fit, and lanyard safety clip lock everything in place, with a custom race panel ready for your name or number.

The Fit

Vault Life Jacket Series

The anatomical fit is shaped specifically for PWC riders, hugging close to the body for a secure, locked-in feel without restricting movement.

Tight Fit = Safe Fit

Your vest should feel tight when dry - that’s on purpose. It’ll stretch once it’s wet, and a loose fit around the shoulders can ride up or even slip off when you hit the water.

Jetpilot Life Jackets are certified to Australian Standard AS 4758 - built to keep you safe, legal, and locked in for any ride on Aussie waters.

Waterway Type:

Smooth/Enclosed - L50 required & L50s allowed - L50S for watersports & L50 for general boating.
Partially Smooth - L50 only
Open Waters - L50 for PWC in some states; L100+ otherwise

*Check your state’s regulations for PWC use in open waters.

Life jackets must meet Australian Standard AS 4758 or equivalent.

Built-In Race Protection

The Protech removable back brace system in the Jetpilot Vault Protech Life Jacket is engineered for serious protection on the water. Certified to CE Level 2, it doubles the level of impact defence by reducing transmitted forces to under 9kN - half the maximum allowed under Level 1 standards. Instead of absorbing impact, the system deflects and diffuses energy along reinforced plates, spreading the force to minimise direct hits to the spine. Crafted with dual-layer foam construction and an exoskeleton shell, it flexes with your movement while forming a resilient shield against high-speed crashes. Built into the vest but fully removable, it gives riders the choice between maximum race-day protection and everyday comfort, making it a versatile safeguard trusted by world-class PWC athletes.

Comfortable but
Tight, when I held it next to my other XL life jacket this was more like a large so it is quite snug. Other than that, worn it once - nice & light, and the love/ grab handles are great!

Seadoo Life Jacket
The jacket is good for offshore fishing. I caution re sizing as I’m normally an XL but needed a 3XL in this jacket. Would love to see a spot that really accommodates a PLB holder, hand held radio clip and radio. It’s best on market though I think
